Alice in Wonderland Brooch - Primitive Folk Art Doll

Who says art has to stay on a wall or on a shelf? I’m so excited to be able to offer you my very first pieces of wearable art. If you’re an Alice in WonderlandI’m sure you’d be super happy to wear this little girl on your lapel, purse or backpack.

This brooch is an OOAK (original, one of a kind)piece of artwork. It has been made of muslin, stuffed with fiberfill & hand-painted, sanded & stained for a lovely, aged patina. It was then sealed with matte sealer with UV filter to ensure longevity, although you may want to take caution in wet weather. A brooch back has been carefully & securely sewn to little Alice with embroidery thread. Please be careful when attaching & removing as this pin is delicate.

Alice comes with her very own keepsake box which has been primed, painted, crackled & aged.

I’ve initialed the brooch & signed & dated the bottom of the keepsake box as well.

Box measures 3″ x 2″ x 1.5″. Alice is just under 2.5″ & is less than 1″ wide.
