An Inro is a small ornamental box hung normally from the sash of a kimono to hold small objects such as cosmetics, perfumes, tobacco or medicines, because traditional Japanese garb lacks pockets. They also make beautiful necklaces. :)
I used a technique I have been calling Scrap Mokume Gane to get the interesting design and colors.
The Inro measures 2' tall X 1 3/4" across the oval. It is strung on black buna cording. Just tell me how long you want the necklace and I'll add a clasp.
