Matilda is part of my "School Photo" series... small, original, one-of-a-kind stitched and painted fiber art illustrations of gentle children. I free motion embroidered, (a fancy term for drawing with your sewing machine) her with black thread onto a salvaged piece of vintage table linen. Afterward, I hand painted the illustration with Japanese fabric paints and stitched and stuffed it into a small hanging ornament.

Perfect to hang from a nail or hook, (see last picture) to add a decorative touch to any small wall space. Also great to hang from a dresser pull, keychain, sweater button, necklace, or car mirror... I believe art should be accessible, versatile, everywhere, and anywhere!

Measures 3" x 2" with an additional 1" cord hanger.
