These are a very nice pair of sterling silver fishhook earrings with pewter hearts. The hearts are each inlaid with a jewel of sparkling faceted red glass, and are carved with flowers. These earrings are very light and are about an inch and a half long.

The charity that will be benefitted from the sale of this item is Women for Women, which is an international organization working to support women in countries where they do not have the same rights as men. It was awarded the Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize in 2006, and has reached more than 70,000 women. This money will go specifically to their work with women in Afghanistan.
