Eternity Spiral Necklace - J. Powell Signs and Symbols Collection

This listing is for a very wearable necklace...delicate Taxco Sterling Silver chain and hand forged organic eternity spiral design element, with gun metal oval link bail. An everyday adornment that is easy to wear and is both delicate and symbolic in nature.

I've designed this piece which is part of a jewelry collection called "Symbols and Signs". Inspired by my travels and living and working in Asia, Europe and Latin America utilizing basic metalworking techniques mixing and playing with a rich palette of symbols, languages, text and meaning, textures and a ode to the past, present and future.

My background, over 25 years, is in both metalsmithing and computer arts. Over the years i've worked and studied at one or both in the USA, London, Switzerland and now Mexico City. I am now living in Mexico City and have setup a small metal studio workspace creating beautiful objects and jewelry that celebrate our lives and forging 130+ unique finding designs for other jewelry makers :o I really love doing what i'm doing and hope that even if you're only perusing my etsy site that at the very least you are inspired to pursue the loves of your life :]
