Vine Heart Gold Fibula Brooch

Description

This is a very special piece, entirely hand hammered and fabricated from 18k yellow gold. I created the heart panel using the ancient techniques of chasing and repousse. Forged vines wrap around the heart and also create the fibula style pin mechanism. tThe entire piece has an ancient magical timeless quality to it. It will become a family heirloom, with much personal significance to the wearer.

The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches or 4 cm h x 4cm wide at its maximum dimensions. The photo with the black background shows the piece pinned onto a shirt. This style of pin mechanism is intended to be lightly sprung into place, like a safety pin. The pin itself should not be repeatedly bent back and forth.

All purchases are packaged in lovely gift bags and shipped by US mail, priority within the USA.
