New brown wrapdress made from vintage pattern and vintage material, sz 3yrs (92-98cl)

My mother in law gave me a real threasury a while ago. The patterns the had been making clothes of when my DH and his sister was young.

This is the favourite pattern for both of us. A wrapdress with buttons on the shoulders. Both shoulderstraps from the front are buttoned up on the shoulder.

The fabric is a vintage fabric I bought from England and the buttons are from my grand mothers big yar of buttons. So a new dress, but with old material. Recycling at is best!

The fit is pretty normal, even though it is an original pattern from the 60's when everything seems to be slim fitted. On the cover of the pattern envelope it featured a girl wearing this over trousers, as a tunic. At this length I think it is best used as a dress for a three-year-old. But I am pretty sure that it will work as a tunic for a 4-year-old, and perhaps a 5-year-old as well.
