luxurious screen-printed silk 1950s style dress with tree and flower detail, ideal for a wedding, prom or graduation

This is my favourite item I have ever made! It was part of a recent fashion collection I launched and it made the front cover of 2 Irish magazines.

I hand screen printed the dress using two processes, the first devoree (where the branches look transparent) and the second is a midnight black reactive screen print (which has seeped into the fabric leaving the silk luxuriously soft. The dress has been lined with silk lining and has a side zip just under the arm-hole.

The waistband is high quality plush velvet and the poppy flower has been digitally printed. This waistband looks great worn separately with other items like a simple black dress or a shirt. I wore it only once, to a wedding and was asked to sell it 4 times! Dress is in perfect condition.
