Description

This beautiful and elegant necklace's center piece is a gorgeous, LARGE Kiwi Jasper coin pendant. It measures in at 30mm (almost 1 1/4")! There are gorgeous subtitles in color in this piece...soft aquas, creams and greys with lovely, sparkly black areas dotted randomly throughout for contrast. To compliment the piece, I paired it with faceted Smokey Quartz rounds which catch the light beautifully all on sterling silver and then hung beautiful aqua and pale sea green Amazonite briolettes with more faceted Smokey Quartz rounds. I used two different types of delicate yet sturdy sterling silver chain for visual diversity, some simple sterling spacers to contrast the blacks and closed it off with an off-set, simple and small toggle clasp in sterling silver.

~WEARABILITY~
I wear each piece I make for a day so I can better communicate the wearability of a piece. The following commentary is, of course, merely my observations. I'm sure each person can tolerate different things for different periods of time.

This is a wear-it-and-forget-it kind of necklace. It's light, has great movement, is delicate but bold and is sure to get some questions and compliments sent your way. The toggle was placed to be easily accessible and doubles as an interesting but unobstructed design feature. I highly recommend keeping this in the box it will come in. When it's worn, it pretty much stays in place aside from the dangles spinning together and apart every now and then from swinging, but as with pretty much all chains if you just bunch it up and drop it at the bottom of your drawer, the next time you pull it up, it might look more like a lump of mystery materials than a gorgeous necklace...:) Untangling it is not what I would recommend for fun!

~REFLECTIONS~
I absolutely fell in LOVE with the center piece for this necklace and had to have it. The fact that there happened to be two additional briolettes matching it was PERFECT and is what inspired me to use the stones I used...:)

What I love about this necklace is that it's so diverse. You can literally wear it anywhere for anything and the aquas can be paired with so many colors such as brown, black, yellow, pink, green, grey, cream...it all depends on how you want it to stand out against your cloths!
