Camellia 4x4 Tile
Description
A lush flower native to Asia and prized for its ornamental blooms, the camellia's leaves are used to make tea as well.This relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed in two colors: cream on the petals, and a deep blue green in the recessed areas and background, emphasizing its sculptural dimension. The glaze is sponged off of the center of the flower.
Tile measures roughly 3 and 3/4 inches high by 3 and 3/4 inches wide and is about 5/8 of an inch thick at the edges.
It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
