Driftwood Decorative/Planter Box

Description

The perfect, stylish and functional accessory for your home is this driftwood decorative planter box. Use it to highlight a vase a flowers from your garden, to collect your mail or keys, or to corral a collection of seashells or seaglass! It has been created entirely out of wonderfully charismatic driftwood, which I found on various beaches along the Coast of Maine. The pieces show signs of their former lives through nail holes and wear. As all the wood has been exposed to surf, sun and sand for many years, it has natural characteristics of distress. The entire piece has been lightly sanded to remove any rough spots and finished with one coat of acrylic varnish.
