This is a wool skirt/soaker combo that is great to use as a cover over a cloth diaper. Bundles of Joy gives new life to discarded wool sweaters, making them into clothing for your little one. We bypass the scratchy wool sweaters and use only the soft ones. Your cover will come washed, lanolized, and ready to use. Our unique design makes for a great fit with plenty of room in the crotch for even the bulkiest diaper.

Content: 100% Lambswool. Lightly felted, medium weight wool, thick enough for overnight use.

Why use wool diaper covers?
Wool is the most natural, breathable diaper cover you can use. If proper care is taken, your wool covers will not leak! We have not experienced any leaks since we switched to wool covers. Wool is the only fabric that can repel moisture, absorb moisture, and breathe all at the same time. The natural lanolin in wool makes it water repellent. The wool can also absorb up to 30% of its weight in water. The breathable nature of wool helps reduce diaper rash. It also keeps your baby cool in the summer and warm in the winter. As the wool breathes, it wicks moisture away from the diaper to evaporate into the air. Even if the diaper is saturated, the outside of the cover will only feel slightly moist.
Here’s the best part about wool: The lanolin in wool will chemically neutralize the smell of urine. After using a cover, hang it up to air out. The urine smell will be gone after a few hours, and the cover is ready to use again. Covers can be used for weeks or months before needing to be washed. The length of time between washings depends on how absorbent your diapers are and how long the saturated diaper is allowed to sit in the cover. Even though wool covers need special care, they do not need to be washed very often. Detailed washing and care instructions will be included with each wool cover.

Please measure your baby carefully to make sure that the cover will fit before you purchase it. If you should experience any kind of problem with your cover, please contact us. You may also contact us at any time if you have any questions. If your cover is defective in any way, we will gladly replace or refund it. If you find that your baby is allergic to wool, we will refund your purchase. We cannot refund or replace any wool covers that have been ruined or shrunken from misuse in the laundry department. Please save the washing & care guidelines and follow the instructions carefully.
