This piece is from a new series which focuses on pattern and the repetition of one simple mark. The results are unique, non-objective forms which elude to botanical growth. Using pen and ink, this drawing was done on a piece of salvaged wood that had several purposes in it's life, and now, it will be hung on a wall to be appreciated for its years of use. The pen and ink is jet black, which sets a strong contrast against white wood with it's original layer of baby blue peeking through underneath (please see detail shots).

This item is framed and ready to hang when removed from it's protective packaging. The frame is constructed from sturdy barn wood with tons of character and charm. There are notches on all sides, so you can actually play with which orientation you'd prefer, though I photographed from where I think it works best.

**The Growth Series drawings look great when coupled or tripled together rather than hung individually...see last detail picture for an example. Note that this listing is NOT for the triptych in the last image.
