Delicato - organza and taffeta ruffled peony brooch with sparkly repurposed vintage button

Description

This ruffled floral brooch has been created using many layers of fabric. Colours of powder blue, soft chartreuse and mocha combine to create a fabulous accessory with a Victoriana sensibility. Each fabric petal is cut out by hand and then finished to prevent fraying. Carefully handstitched together, a lovely sparkly gold and dark navy blue repurposed vintage button has been added to the centre, and a lockable pin secured to the reverse.

This measures approximately 6.8cm or 2.7" in width.
