Brown and pink is such a classic - and classy! - combination. I I have combined two kinds of fabulous vintage beads in these earrings.

Vintage pink frosted plastic rose beads are combined with very dark brown vintage lucite marbled teardrops. These lucite beads, with their marbled finish, are so charming! Sterling earwires and findings.

Vintage lucite was a high quality plastic used in costume jewelry from the 1940s. Although more substantial than other plastic beads, it is surprisingly light weight and has a luscious shine and feel to it that makes it very different from modern plastic. Lucite beads are often seamless, as they are cut from a tube of lucite rather than press molded.
