It has many names in many places!! But its all the same toy kit!

Do you remember corking when you were a child? making those long knit cords? and then making them into hotpads!?

I had trouble finding a corking set (some call them "knitting nancy") for my grandkids. We'd found some made of plastic but the little knobs broke off. Then I found one at a yard sale - a dutch one from Holland just like I had as a child! My husband told me he could make some just like it. So he did! we bought some dowelling and he cut it to size, drilled them with his lathe, added the knobs/staples, sanded and finished them (boy, that makes it sound easy! it wasn't).

The kit comes in a plastic container with printed instructions and include the hand-crafted wooden corker (knitting spool), yarns, and plastic "needle".
