You’ll feel sexy and feminine in this hot little number. It is part of my urban prairie line. This shrug has confidence and style written all over it. Whether you are running errands or going out on the town, you will feel hip and stylish in this shrug. It is the perfect shoulder-warmer to wear with a little black dress. This shrug looks perfect with a tank top and jeans. You will love it with a long-sleeved top. You can slip it on over a dainty summer dress and look gorgeous. Try wearing it with a t-shirt and feminine skirt. You can’t go wrong with this fashion accessory.

I chose to make this shrug with thick yet lightweight wool blend yarn in everyone’s must-have color, black. Soft and sexy. The sleeves are ribbed to give nice added detail to this piece. I have included a removable blossom pin. The blossom has a lot of detail to it. The blossom itself is dreamy cream for the back layer and the richest, warmest red for the center rose blossom. I have hand sewn clear and iridescent glass beads in groups of three and four in three different areas on the cream part of the blossom. I have added two torn strips of vintagy cotton fabric of cream background with a charcoal posy print. These strips hang down along with two silky strands of ribbon that is black on one side and shimmery silver on the other. Simply gorgeous and it catches the light. The blossom pin adds a great deal of charm and beauty, but if you want simple elegance you can easily remove the blossom pin. Try wearing the pin with a scarf, sweater, jean jacket, belt, tote, or even in your hair if you want to make a lovely statement. This shrug will fit small-medium.
