Copper Byzantine Chainmail Bracelet - Medium

Description

This handmade chainmaille (also known as chainmail) bracelet was made by winding copper wire into a coil. I then sawed the coil into individual rings and wove the rings in a Byzantine pattern. A handmade clasp was then added.

This bracelet measures approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm) in length, including the clasp, and will fit comfortably on a 7 inch (17.8 cm) wrist. It is approximately ¼ inch (.6 cm) wide. I can resize this bracelet to fit your wrist.

This bracelet is a nice medium sized bracelet that can be worn casually, but looks equally as good when you are dressed up.

Although the copper is shiny now, it will develop a rich, brown patina over time. It can be kept clean with a copper cleaner or a mixture of lemon juice and salt.
