Gray Suiting Wool and Green Wool Felt Soft-Sculpture Snail

The snail shell is made from charcoal gray recycled suiting wool and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. It measures 3 inches at its widest and 6 1/2 inches long. The shell itself has several rows of moss and grass green stitches to form the stripes that compliment the body color. The shell is sewn onto the body, which is made from moss green wool felt, and stuffed with polyester fiberfill and plastic pellets (which allow the snail to sit as pictured without additional support).

There is a stainless steel armature within the eyes that is sewn to the main body for extra support; the eyes are poseable, within reason. The eyes are black glass teddy bear eyes. The body, including the shell is 9 inches long and 5 inches wide at its widest undulation. The eyes, completely extended from one eye to the next, measure 8 inches. The height is 6 inches at the top of the shell and 4 1/2 inches at the top of the head (eyes not included). The bottom seam of the body is sewn so that the raw edges are exposed.

Due to the wires, glass eyes, and plastic pellets, this snail is not intended as a child’s toy...Sorry kiddoes, you will have to play with the real ones. Rather, this beastie should be considered as a collectible.
