BLESSINGS Handpainted original Canvas painting

Description

"Blessings" is a special project for me to offer here on etsy.

She is created on a 2" thick, 5.5"x 5.5" square canvas and is a mixed media piece using vintage ephemera, textured papers, and handpainted in acrylics.

Which is just as sweet sitting on a cupboard or shelf as she is hanging on the wall.

She is a sweet little angel painted over a page salvaged from an old hymnal. She has a, textured like feathers, wing and in her outstretched hand, she cradles a little bird that was salvaged from a vintage birdwatching children's book.

I painted raindrops over the piece to represent the showers of blessings that come from above. The edges are black and have silhouettes of flying birds and the whole piece has been antiqued and is sealed for protection with a waterbased sealer.

She is signed and dated and ready to be shipped to you.
