Dragonfly in Amber Czech Glass Button Necklace

My absolute favorite author is the genius behind the Outlander series, Diana Gabaldon. When I found this Czech glass button, my first thought was of Diana's tremendous second book in the series, Dragonfly in Amber.

My dragonfly is not suspended in real amber but beautiful amber colored Czech glass. The creature has been surrounded in a bezel of hand woven Delica seed beads and trimmed with a picot edging of bronze fire-polished Czech glass beads.

Accenting the button is a complimentary 18mm Swarovski rivoli. The fire and depth of this beautiful crystal cannot be captured in photos but it is a beauty to behold. It is also encased in a peyote woven bezel of Delica seed beads.

The pendant is attached to necklace cord with a peyote woven bail and back is finished with a brown faux leather fabric. Necklace cord is brown organdy ribbon combined with 4 strands of 2mm leatherette cord. Ends are finished with a gold plated ribbon clamp and a gold plated lobster clasp with a gold vermeil extender chain. Pendant measures 2 3/4" long by 1 3/4" wide. Including clasp, necklace cord measures 18" with a 1" extender chain.
