Forest Floor Beadwoven Bracelet

Description

I love to hike and I love to do it in places that have beautiful views and sweeping vistas. But more often than not, I find myself with my head down, deeply involved in the amazing beauty under my feet.

This bracelet is an attempt to capture the tapestry that is the forest floor. It is made up of several shades of olivey greens, as well as some metallic gold-finished beads. I used both larger and smaller beads to give it a wonderful sort of ruffly texture and a sculptural aspect. It is closed with a gold vermeil toggle clasp.
