Handmade Vintage Sequined Collar Bib Necklace with Recycled Suede Poppy Flower

This statement necklace is one of kind! A vintage sequined collar has been repurposed as a necklace and embellished with a handmade fuchsia poppy flower. The soft flower and leaf adorning the necklace were constructed from repurposed and reworked vintage suede gloves with a shiny vintage faceted black button in the flower’s center.

The back of the necklace is lined in smooth satin, which is original to the piece in its former life as a collar. It has been cleaned but shows some very minor discoloration due to its age.

Cream satin ribbon extends from the sequined collar to an 18 karat gold-filled adjustable chain and clasp.

This necklace is lightweight, easy to wear and sure to turn heads. It can be worn to dress up a simple top or sundress to add even more glamour to an evening look.
