Portland natives and newcomers all know the Oregon sign on the West end of the Burnside Bridge.

The sign originally read: White Stag
Later it was purchased by and reworked to read: Made in Oregon
These days, the city of Portland has obtained the sign, and will change it again to read:

OREGON
OLD TOWN
