River- Abstract Mosaic with Metal Washers
Description
This piece measures approx. 17" x 9" x4" deep and is made of vitreous glass tile and metal washers.I was inspired to create this piece while looking through aerial photographs of rivers in the south. The pea green glass tiles represent the muddy waters and the metal washers loosely depict trees and other vegitation along the banks.
The maple frame is handmade and has been stained grey. Hardware has been attached and the piece is ready to be hung.
