Chartreuse Arashi Shibori Top (small)

Description

When I was a kid and didn't know any better, I thought chartreuse was some variety of pink. It just sounded pink to me, like fuchsia.

Now I know better. This shirt is most certainly chartreuse. And black. And not pink at all. :)

To make this pattern, I wrapped the shirt on a small diameter pipe, bound it tightly, and scrunched it as small as it would go. The bits left showing got dyed black. And then I dyed the whole thing in a very bold chartreuse bath.

- Sleeves from underarm: 8 1/2 inches
