Teal Print Lolita - Kanzashi style snap clip Barrette

Description

A one of a kind Japanese style hair ornament on a snap clip barrette. Tsumami Kanzashi - folded fabric hair ornaments are a traditional accessory for Maiko and Geisha.

This modern adaptation is handmade using vintage kimono silk and a vintage button. The snap clip is firmly attached to the flower, backed with felt. Raw edge fabric on underside.

The silver tone snap clip barrette is 1 3/4" size and the flower is slightly less than 2" in diameter and about 3/4" in height.

The fabric is from an antique kimono - a crisp teal blue with light teal and cream floral print and the center is a vintage gray/green(flat - slightly shiny)style button
