FALL ing for Sedona scarf knit in Vegan and Eco Friendly yarns
Description
If you've ever driven up State Route 89A and rounded the curve into Sedona, Arizona, you'll recognize my inspiration for this scarf. If you haven't had the pleasure of being "smacked in the face" with one of this countries most awe inspiring natural sites, you need to add it to your must see list! Red Rock Country is too gorgeous to express in words so I tried my best to capture the beauty in this scarf.I knit Falling for Sedona in a mix of 6 different vegan yarns. Two of the yarns I created myself; one a turquoise batik dyed cotton fabric I tore into strips and the other was a stretchy nylon shirt in ombre shades of rust and browns. The fringe at one edge is the turquoise fabric and at the other edge is a ribbon yarn in rusts, browns, champagne and berry. All the earth tone colors of this scarf work so well together because they are also the colors of Fall, and turquoise is a given when it comes to Arizona.
