I wanted to capture the dragonfly but without too much detail. Something simple, allowing you to admire the incredible beauty of the dragonfly. I first applied gesso to the canvas to achieve a textured look. Then painted the background a vibrant yellow, green and added touches of white. Finally the silhouette of the dragonfly was painted on. The sides are painted a deep black and no framing is necessary - Ready for the wall!!

Finish will be applied at shipping time for protection.

Each is signed on the back.
