1/16 inch (1.58mm) Stainless Steel Mandrels - 13

Description

This is the perfect size mandrel for spacers & smaller beads, leaving a bead hole size of approximately 1.9mm (dependant on how thick your bead release is).
This size bead hole is ideal for general stringing projects.

Made of 316L stainless steel these, have been cut, ground deburred & polished to a nice slightly bevelled end with no spurs or points.

A bakers dozen(13) x 1/16" (1.58mm) Diameter 9" long mandrels.

A note on 316L stainless steel: it has a low carbon content, which essentially means that it is more stable at higher temperatures than other types & has the best corrosion resistance. Something to consider when it is constantly being exposed to both flame & water. The melt point on 316L is 2500 degrees Fahrenheit, glass is considerably lower than this.
