Prim Blossom Mat

Description

I hand hook in the traditional manner using 100% wool fabric strips on a linen foundation. This mat was hooked with 100% new wool, most of which was hand-dyed with my original recipes. I professionally finish my rugs by binding them with my durable, hand-dyed rug yarn and sewing on cotton twill tape.

“Blossom” is one of the original designs from my 2005 Floral Series...Just hooked this year in prim shades!
Measuring 8” in diameter this hooked mat is a perfect table mat. Great as a trivet for hot dishes, a sweet candle mat or coaster!

For those of you that aren’t familiar with my work...I’ve been dyeing wool and hooking for over 30 years. My rugs are part of private collections across the country. I rarely list my rugs, but as time permits...I hope to offer more here for your consideration. This heirloom quality rug will come to you signed and dated.
