Japanese Mountain Snowscape - Change / Coin Purse with metal kiss clasp

My sister-in-law lives near a wonderful shop that carries Japanese fabrics. And this shop contains one of my favorite things ever: a basket full of remnants.

Handmade change purse made from a remnant of a landscape fabric. Snow topped trees with a background of snow-topped mountains and a deep blue sky. Lined with the paler blue sky from the top of the remnant. I have a few change purses with this fabric combination, so they'll look very similar to, but not exactly like, the one pictured.

I use discards, remnants and vintage fabrics to limit my impact on the environment.

Measures approximately 4 inches (about 10cm) wide by 4.75 inches (about 12cm) deep with a mouth about 2.25 inches (about 6 cm) wide . Each purse is cut and sewn by hand, so sizes are approximate and vary slightly from bag to bag.

Big enough for coins and bills with room for a lip balm. Deep enough to fit a credit card.
