Upcycled Denim Clutch Bag

Another great, one-of-a-kind bag from "a little bit behind©." I use denim jeans to create unique purses and bags, adding embellishments of wool, rug hooking, & vintage trims and buttons.

Don't you love a clutch bag? I created this clutch from recycled denim jeans, and added a wristlet handle and a sweet heart embellishment created from silk ribbon using punch needle embroidery. The ribbon is an ombre in shades of soft blues to lavenders.

I lined the bag with vintage striped fabric and added a hook and loop closure. The backside uses the original pocket from the blue jeans. The wristlet handle is 5 inches.

Measures 7 inches high, 13 inches wide, and the back pocket is 3 inches deep.

This one won't last long - it's a great summer purse that will be fashionable with everything you wear.
