For Tokyo51 -- PENTAGONAL STARFISH SAND CAST WITH FACETED HEART MYSTIC TOPAZ NECKLACE

Description

This necklace consists of a sterling silver pendant and a platinum plated copper neck wire -- choker length. If want the pendant alone, the cost is $10 less. I have this neck wire/torc listed in my store for that amount. You can see a better description and pictures of it alone, if you check my other listings. I can either refund that amount or re-list the pendant at the lowered cost, if you choose the pendant alone. I would affix the ball end of the neck wire permanently so the pendant won't slide off, if you opt to include the neck wire. I'm not certain if all of that is clear so please contact me, if you have questions.

Okay, now for the description of the pendant. I created it by first casting the pentagonal-starfish portion. I then set this casting on a plate of sterling with gallery bezel wire as I would a cabochon. On the bail, I set a 1.6 carat, heart-shaped, mystic topaz... 7X7mm. I patinated the casting with a sort of iridescent hue to match the mystic topaz and then removed most of the patina from the starfish. The pendant weighs almost exactly 18 grams. It is roughly one and one-half inches high by one and one-quarter wide. I have signed the back. I think it looks good on this neck wire. That's it. The pictures tell the rest of the story.
