I wanted to capture the butterfly but without too much detail. Something simple, allowing you to admire its incredible beauty. I first applied gesso to the canvas to achieve a textured look. Then painted the background a vibrant orange, yellow and pink. Finally the silhouette of the dragonfly was painted on. The sides are painted a deep black with the black extending onto the front of the canvas. No framing is necessary - Ready for the wall!!

Finish will be applied at shipping time for protection.

Each is signed on the back.
