Description

Making & marking the mari is an integral a part of making temari as stitching is, yet it can be difficult to learn what things should be like. Seeing, holding and feeling a prepared mari is often a key to understanding how to make your own. These are offered as a learning help, and for those have physical challenges that make mari prep difficult.

This is a prepared mari "from scratch" (the entire ball is hand made, not started with a pre-formed base), marked in the Simple 4 Division. It allows you to work on stitching while you continue to hone your mari-making skills. It includes a rattle in the center (traditional for good luck). They are 2 1/2 to 3 inches in diameter.

Please specify white, black or another color (most all are available) in your order, otherwise we'll choose a color for you. We can also accommodate class needs - please inquire by email.
