I am so excited about this bag. I did not have a pattern, but had a long-overdue surge of imagination and creativity.
This purse is created from my on-hand fabrics, some new, some recycled.
This vintage upholstery fabric is a soft canvas with "watercolor- painted" floral design in my favorited hues of rose, green, blue and gold. I trimmed it with some recycled denim from some great blue jeans that I just had to convert to shorts. The strap has a matching padded insert from the same fabric. When I thought it was finished, I just had to add some more detail, and sewed on some vintage buttons of coordinating colors. The lining is a polyester woven fabric, and includes a contrasting pocket.

Has a heavy magnetic purse snap.

Bag is 22" across bottom, 15" across top and 12" high.

Strap measures 38" long.
