With A Twist - Pointy Hat

Description

This felt hat is made of natural unbleached cream wool (Bluefaced Leicester) with multicoloured silks liberaly coating the outside. These silks are felted into the wool, creating a mottled effect. The colours are very lively and fruity - green, turquoise, yellow, orange, amber, pink, blue ...

This hat is quite large, with a low curving brim - it puts me in mind of a sunhat.
The point is twisted round itself and curves backwards.
This hat is suitable for a larger head.

Like all my hats, this pointy hat is unique. Handmade by myself the felt is naturally crinkly, the brims are not perfectly circular but have bumps and dips peculiar to each hat.
If you're interested in commissioning a similar hat, please do not hesitate to ask, but bear in mind that each hat comes out slightly different!
