marbled paper hand-made decorative box

Description

This drop-lid box is handmade from book board, book cloth, and my own marbled papers. It is approximately 5” x 7” x 2.5,” an ideal size for holding stationary, cards, smalls books, jewelry, scarves, or special keepsakes. (Shown here with some ColorTwirl small journals, which are not included.) The binding is eggplant (a deep blue-purple) and the cover paper is combed design of brilliant teal, purple, metallic copper, light grey and a dark green. The coordinating paper that covers the body of the box is teal, silver, purple and copper, in a waved free-form pattern. The inside bottom of the box matches the cover. If you prefer a flip-top box I can easily glue up the spine for you – just ask!
