Sea Grass Necklace

Description

This necklace was inspired by my love for all things relating to the ocean. I hope to one day live by the sea so that I can walk on the beach every morning as the sun rises.

The base of the necklace was created using a freeform netting pattern that was probably the most time consuming part of this piece. The focal piece is an Abalone Shell pendent that boasts a lush and full fringe of Emerald Green Seed Beads. The focal part is backed with silky soft Black Ultra-suede. The inside neckline of the piece is encrusted with a variety of Seed Beads, Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski Crystals, Swarovski Crystal Pearls Semi-Precious Stone Chips of Quartz and Dark Green Aventurine. It took over 23 hours to create this piece. The clasp is a Sterling Silver Multi-strand Tube Clasp. This gorgeous necklace measures 19.5 inches from end to end.
