This 17" necklace is made in the style of basic macrame, or knotting, and has a danger-filled story! In the process of creating it, I broke two needles, got one stuck in my thumb, and continued working on it relentlessly during a drive through the torrential downpours of a Florida summer. But I believe the result is well worth the struggle and I hope you agree!

I used lavender and cream embroidery floss to make the macrame knots of the necklace. They are decorated with beautiful seed beads and shell beads which accent the gorgeous lavender glass flower bead in the center!
