Vintage model of the human heart

Vintage Human Heart Model! This is the first time I've seen one of these, and an internet search suggests that this impressive model is rather rare.

It's the perfect gift for a doctor - or a recent grad. Perhaps your dad would like this for Father's Day? Or buy it for its sculptural value.

Manufactured by Bobbitt Laboratories of Burlington, North Carolina (metal plaque on base), this model is stamped "1967 OBS" on the bottom. Mid-century.

Model is 15" tall and base is 9" round.

Plastic resin & hand painted.

Three removable parts allow viewing into the major valves.

In very good condition. Extremely clean. Some minor surface wear from use. Colors are still quite vivid.
