One of (almost) everything! A packet of 9 folded greeting cards featuring hand-printed designs on heavy art paper. Cards are blank on the inside; they measure approximately 3.5" x 5.5" with rounded corners and are printed on 200 gram Fabriano Ellerre paper. There is a small "Morris & Essex" mark stamped on the back of each one. The assortment of cards may vary slightly from the selection pictured. Every card comes with an envelope hand-made from brown kraft paper. Some envelopes have a simple blue stripe pattern printed on the backside, over the flaps. Each set is individually gift-wrapped with unique vintage trimmings, no two packages are alike!

Morris & Essex products are all designed and printed by me, Eliza Jane Curtis, in my studio in the historic and leafy Palermo barrio of Buenos Aires. My work is a combination of linocut block-printing and silkscreen, using both traditional screenprinting tenchniques and a new-fangled Japanese Gocco machine. I mix all of my own ink colors for a beautiful and original color palette.

Designs combine my love of the city’s art deco architectural details and memories of childhood daydreams in the fields and forests of Maine to create motifs of geometry, nature and fantasy.

Cards ship by standard US Mail. We ship every Wednesday or sooner, out of Portland, Maine, so they should arrive to US addresses 2-5 business days later. Let me know if you would like expedited shipping or Express Mail.
