Pendant measures approximately 1" wide x 1 1/8" long. This is an original, hand-made and individually fused piece of artwork. Each piece of art and jewelry takes over two days to make.

First I cut the glass and assemble the materials based on heat working compatibility of the glass. The piece is full-fused at temperatures over 1400 degrees with high heat "soaks" in the kiln. A corresponding proper annealing schedule at under 1000 degrees provides strength, sheen and durability.

The piece may then be "cold-worked" with a wet belt sander to soften edges, refired at over 1300 degrees for a fire polish, or slumped at over 1200 degrees.
