Andy the Antarctic Penguin

Description

Andy lives in Antarctica. Somehow, he made it to the South Pole where it's cold and dark all the time. And the ice cream machine is always broken. He doesn't like the South Pole and wants to walk back to McMurdo where it's warm and the Frosty Boy ice cream machine is never broken. But which way to go?

This mixed media piece is the latest in my Blockhead Bird series. Made of acrylic and a mix of international postage stamps. The surfboard really is a comet stamp. The body is an Olympic stamp.

Mixed media artwork on stretched canvas, 5 x 5 x 3/4 inches (12.5 x 12.5 x 1.75 cm). Signed and dated.
