Baron von Trapp

When I awoke this morning to the dawn chorus of birds outside my bedroom window I was pleasantly surprised to see that my dear friend Baron von Trapp had returned. Full of tales of his adventures in the Canary Islands, he was sporting a new Tyrolean hat from a quick visit to his native Austria on the way home.

Baron von Trapp is sewn from pure wool felt and detailed with embroidery. His hat, which is firmly attached to his little noggin, is adorned with a tuft of wool roving. The baron is stuffed with fiberfill and stands 4 inches tall on his wire legs.

Baron von Trapp was designed as a piece of sculpture. He should be kept out of reach of children under the age of three, who might mistake him for a plate of wiener schnitzel.
