waldorf-inspired felted soap (red w/gnome)

Description

felted soaps are truly brilliant!

the soaps themselves are handmade locally (nc) by a friend, this one is 'sandalwood'. they are then wrapped in 100% wool, which by itself is antifungal.

the wool will shrink as the soap does...so no more little soap slivers. also, felted soap is a gentle exfoliator. and once the soap is gone, carefully cut the wool open & let it dry...then use is as a sachet! :)

felted soaps are themselves simply beautiful, but this one i embellished with a whimsical gnome lounging under his favorite toadstool.

they make simply wonderful gifts...we, the boys & i, used our first lot as "gratitude soaps". a beautiful & natural way to say thank you for the wonderful people in your life. without resorting to your everyday greeting card. each comes ready to gift with a handmade card describing its uniqueness.
