Description
A long, soft, washed summer linen scarf, No. 3 in this group of linen warp scarves.This charcoal gray fine Swedish cotton, and unbleached linen check design scarf was handwoven by me on my floor loom. The weave is my old favorite Swedish weave pattern called Myggtjall, or Mosquito net, a simple openwork lacy type of weave. The scarf is very light, and supple. After weaving and taking it off the loom, I handwashed it in cool water, and dried it in a cool tumble drier to soften the weave, and move the threads into place. As with all linen garments, the scarf will continue to soften over time with wear and occasional handwashings.
