Stacie's Steampunk Earrings

Description

Steampunk is an interesting design idea. I didn't have any gears or washers to use, so I decided to make my own. These earrings are made out of copper that has been oxidized, and I fabricated the washer element out of copper and sterling silver. One side is copper, the other is silver and they have been soldered together. I put two little sterling silver dangles on each side of the washer disc, and fused them on the earring. The copper frame is handmade too.

Total Length: 2 1/4 inches
Total Width: 1/2 inch across the bottom of the elongated hoop.
Disc Size: 6/10 of an inch in diameter ( a bit over 1/2 inch)
