Dreamer, self portrait

Description

Dreamer is a portrait of myself from another lifetime that emerged from the clay. I began with the intent to create a piece that would express how I feel when I journey in my energy. And then i felt the energy of myself from a lifetime where I was an artist.... but then everyone in that culture was. It was just natural to express oneself this way.
This piece is coil built with stoneware clay. It rings when you tap it! I finished it with two glaze firings. The first was a dark stain. Then i applied colorful underglaze pencils which gives it a pastel appearance. See detail with "zoom" .
These colors where fired for a second glaze firing, three firings in all. More photos available, just convo me.
